Level 4, Intermediate, Post 6, 'Postgraduate Studies'

When I finish my degree I would like to study environment design to complement it and have a better vision of the interior, and be able to design the spaces either constructively and see how it could be inhabited. I would like to study this in Chile so that when I decide to go to another country I will be more prepared, I still don't know in which university.

I would also like to study another language in addition to English, but traveling to the speaking country, because one learns to function much better, for example, through school I went on an exchange to Brazil for a month and in that I learned much more than what I learned in Portuguese classes in Chile, and it is nice to create ties in other countries. Also, learn other cultures, ways of life, how they live day to day and how different or the same we can be.

I have always had a topic with English, I feel that understanding it does not cost me anything but expressing myself generates fear and I am wrong, so I would like to try another way to learn it, whether traveling or I do not know, but learning to express myself in a good way English and overcome that barrier that can open many doors.

The truth is I do not know if I can achieve all these things or how I would pay for them, but hopefully I can achieve at least two or perhaps more goals that may arise in the future. The future will tell.

Thanks for read:)

Level 4, Intermediate, Post 5, 'My future job'

The truth is that I have not thought much about the type of job I would like to have, but I always thought that when studying architecture I would like to have a job where I could help others, perhaps not make radical changes, but contribute, for example, in changing what they are. the measures of the houses so that they are habitable or cheaper materials to be able to fix other things, and I feel that the overcrowding and that the houses are no longer so habitable has become more evident in a pandemic. Apart from that I would love to travel and learn how things are done in other countries and see if they can be implemented here.

Regarding the salary, I have always heard that an architect is not well paid, but while studying I have seen the professors who are architects and as long as you try hard and do what you propose well, you can have a good salary, it is not as unattainable as they say .

Just now I have learned that architecture is much more than I thought and the field it actually has is super wide, we can dedicate ourselves to the historical field, design, and many more, which leaves me much calmer and I do not want to close to even think about what I want to do in the future.

Is psychology a science?

Psychology is a science, because science is the faculty of man that makes it possible to find explanations for the phenomena studied and answers to research, regardless of whether this is always true or not.

In the case with physics, whose concepts are constantly changing. For example: although Isaac Newton's laws are still being studied today, we have known for a long time that they are not completely true, since Einstein's theory of relativity knew how to question them. Because there are multiple variables not studied, until entering a succession of unexpected events.

A science must meet two basic factors, the first of these is to be clear about the field in which you want to increase knowledge, which psychology does, since it studies human behavior and its cognitive processes, and the second important factor is the use of the scientific method, that is, making observations, collecting data, forming theories, testing predictions, and interpreting results. The basic steps of the scientific method in psychology are: Make an observation that describes a problem, create a hypothesis, test the hypothesis, draw conclusions, and refine the hypothesis.

So the concept of psychology has evolved over time, so now we can say that psychology meets the requirements to classify it as a science. but not all its aspects. As far as the future we can project that; psychology would be divided into several categories, a psychology that is based on scientific study, another more interested in society and culture, that is, its influences on the social environment, etc.

Level 4, Intermediate, Post 3, 'Theme Free Post'

Hello everyone:)

Today I am going to tell you about the chaos that my life has become in recent months, first of all, considering that we are in a pandemic and I cannot go out, which is bad because my house is small and not much can be done, in theory  my house is for 3 people to live and we are 5, but now my older brother and his family also live in my house because they are remodeling theirs, so now we are 9 PEOPLE, 7 adults and 2 children. The beginning was difficult, many discussions and there was no order, especially in the mornings because my brother has an online job, my sister-in-law is a teacher and I had the classes. We did not know how to distribute ourselves so that neither interrupted the other or coordinate so that the children did not enter areas of occupied people, but over time we had to adapt spaces and coordinate schedules, for example, my house has 2 floors so we bought a door so that the children do not come up in the morning schedule, and we put desks in the bedrooms, in addition to learning each other's schedule so as not to interrupt. We still haven't been able to coordinate very well, but over time it will improve and there is little left for the holidays.

I hope you are living this pandemic in the best way you
can, thanks for reading:)

Level 4, Intermediate, Post 2, 'The Best Holidays/Concert Ever'

Hi every one

Today i gona a tell story about the first concert that i attended. Well It was 2014, I was only 12 years old and totally obsessed with one direction (I still love them), it was announced that they come in April and the day the tickets were sold I could not buy the ticket and I was sad, but in the news it was announced that due to the success of sales a second date would open, on this second date we agreed with some colleagues to buy the tickets and we were able.

The big day arrived and we had to travel to Santiago at around 5 am being that the concert was at 7 pm because the tickets were not numbered and reach a good place. We arrived at the national stadium and there was a tremendous line that did not advance, we waited until more or less 5 pm when they opened the doors and began to move slowly, in between, the girls fainted, we sang with the other fans and it became shorter, when We got to the entrance, we had to run and it started to rain, then the guards shouted that we should not be separated from our mothers, we went in and bought tents for the rain and it was really too nice to be there despite everything.

Level 4, Intermediate, Post 1, 'A Country I would like to visit'

Hi everyone :)

Today I'm going to talk to you about Israel. First of all, going to Jerusalem is one of my biggest dreams of my life, it all started because my family is super religious and because of my fascination with the history of this place.

As you already know, Jerusalem is full of vestiges of the time when monotheistic religions emerged and continue to coexist, which have reached a very large massification, such as Christianity, Judaism and Islam, well visiting this place we can visit places where these religions coexist.

For example in its capital Jerusalem, which is divided into 4 neighborhoods that respect their religions, only visiting Jerusalem can we find:

-The Church of the Holy Sepulcher; one of the most important places for Christianity

-The Al-Aqsa Mosque; one of the holiest places for Islam

-The Wailing Wall; which is the closest point where Jews can pray to the Sancho Sanctorum.

In addition, these places are protected since they are part of the wonders of the world and their conservation is encouraged. In the fairly distant future I would like to spend time studying the history and architecture of this place and how religions influence it.

Thanks you for read:)
